Corrections are the most useful thing you can send us.
Found a wrong number?
This is the message we most want to receive. If a figure looks wrong, or a source has been updated or discontinued since we cited it, tell us. If you can point at the source, better still. We would rather correct something than defend it.
How to reach us
Email hello@papacalcs.com. We read everything, and we reply to most things, though not always quickly.
What we can help with
- Corrections to any figure, source, or data year
- A calculator behaving oddly, especially with a specific set of inputs
- Suggestions for questions we have not answered yet
- Accessibility problems, which we treat as bugs
- Requests to delete anything we hold about you
What we cannot help with
We cannot give personal financial, legal, or medical advice, and we cannot tell you what to decide for your own family. We can tell you where a number came from and what it assumes, which is usually the more useful thing anyway.
Before you write
If your question is about how a calculator works, the answer may already be on the methodology page, which explains each one, or on the sources page, which lists every dataset with its data year.
